210,000 people & counting. Let's help more people!!

Eight years ago, the Tanzania Water Fund was born from a simple but powerful belief: clean water is a human right. What started as a modest effort to support one village has grown into a movement that’s transforming lives across Tanzania.

Meet Amina, a 12-year-old girl from the village of Maji Moto. Just a few years ago, Amina’s daily routine began before sunrise. She would walk nearly four miles to fetch water from a muddy stream—missing school, risking her health, and carrying a heavy burden both physically and emotionally.

But everything changed when the Tanzania Water Fund partnered with local leaders to install a solar-powered well in her village. Now, clean water flows just steps from her home. Amina attends school every day, dreams of becoming a teacher, and no longer worries about waterborne illness. Her story is one of thousands—each a ripple in the wave of change you’ve helped create.

This year, we celebrate eight years of impact:

  • Over 20 communities now have access to clean, safe water.
  • Thousands of children like Amina are back in school.
  • Women and girls are reclaiming hours each day once lost to water collection.
  • Local economies are growing as health improves and time is freed for work and education.

But our work is far from over. In Tanzania, nearly half the population still lacks access to clean water. With your continued support, we can expand our reach, empower more communities, and ensure that no child has to choose between education and survival.

Let’s also look ahead—with hope, with purpose, and with the unwavering belief that every drop counts.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s keep the ripples going.
